Hi, I'm Evi. I'm 30 years old and am from Ghent, Belgium. Starting in December I will be working part-time at the Tromsø Outdoor Center.

My passion for the outdoors runs deep, especially my love for long-distance hiking and bikepacking. In 2022 I thru-hiked the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada, a very special experience. Last year I biked from Belgium to Norway.

My goal in life is to connect more people with the outdoors. Therefore, I created a little website where I share things about hiking and other outdoor adventures (www.setting-north.com). Besides that, I have worked as an outdoor guide, ski instructor and researcher (I have a degree in Biology).

I am looking forward to the start of the winter season in Tromsø and am excited to go on adventures and meet new people.

My favourite quote is the classic 'Happiness is only real when shared' (Christopher McCandless) since I always found the people the most important part of adventuring.
