Hi! I am Marie. I joined Tromsø Outdoor last winter. You will meet me on our e-bike trips in the summer and on our cross-country skiing and snowshoe trips in the winter or in our rental center in town.

Originally I come from Germany. I moved to Tromsø a couple of years ago to study. I have been guiding city tours for the last two years and quickly fell in love with living above the arctic circle. Everyday life up here is quite magical. 

On the weekends, you can usually find me in the mountains, either climbing, skiing, hiking or simply enjoying a cup of hot chocolate in a cosy cabin or in my tent.

Besides from outdoor sports, I am very interested in a sustainable way of living and have a master´s degree in geo-ecology.

I will happily share my knowledge about the local geography, nature and wildlife and what we can do to preserve it.
