Born with skis on my feet in a small Czech town, I’ve always had a love for the outdoors and adventure. While I enjoyed cross-country skiing in my younger years, I later focused on understanding the natural world more deeply. As a geography student working on my master’s degree, I’ve learned about natural processes, cartography, and other geographical wonders, which help me navigate terrain like it’s my playground. I’ve been a scout leader for many years, sharing my passion for nature. From leading snowshoe trips in the breathtaking Tamok Valley to ski tours in Hurrundane, and now working as a snowshoe and cross-country skiing guide, I’ve likely spent more nights in a tent than under a roof. And when I’m not out exploring, you’ll find me enjoying a good coffee at the nearest café. As I like to say, "There’s no such thing as bad weather, but bad coffee? That’s another story.
